Our 5th Annual CITY OF ROSES Pre-Season Tournament is not far off. So we are extending an invitation, to all Ontario C.T.F. Adult members, to come out and support this event. This year to try and boost pre-paid entries the tournament organizers have implemented a pre-paid entry draw to encourage bowlers to register in advance. Having prepaid entries helps the tournament directors better organize the squads. This tournament will be a great way to get ready for the upcoming bowling season. Last year this tournament paid out over $5,000 in prize money. City of Roses tournament is offering events for Teams, Doubles, and Singles with Men’s, Women’s and Mixed divisions. The tournament is scheduled for August 12 and August 13, 2017 with squads at 10am, 2pm and 6pm both days. Bowlers must be at least 19 years of age to participate. It is C.T.F. sanctioned. The tournament is 100% handicap. Revs Rose Bowl, 2482 Dougall Avenue, Windsor Ontario, is hosting the event. Entries will close ½ hour before each squad. The entry fee is Teams – $100, Doubles – $50, and Singles – $25. Bowlers can wait to pay when they check in. Tournament will be holding brackets, 50/50 draw, and ball raffles. You can mail, email, or fill in an on- line entry form from the WECKBA web site. In the TEAM EVENT 4 bowlers bowl 4 games with handicap and with the lowest team score is dropped. In the DOUBLES EVENT, bowlers roll 4 games with the lowest combined score (scratch and handicap) dropped. In the SINGLES EVENT, you bowl 4 games eliminating the lowest scratch game and handicap.
